Drinking water systems.

Whether you're looking to get off bottled water or remove the chemical tastes and smells from your drinking water, a simple under-counter drinking water system is easy to install and provides crystal clear, clean, safe and great tasting water right from your tap.

These systems are inexpensive and typically only require filter changes once a year. You can use it to supply your water for drinking, cooking, washing fruits and vegetables, coffee/tea, even brewing beer or kombucha and more. If you want the best of your body, you need to give the best to your body.

Whole-house Purification

Purifying the water right as it enters your home is one of the most common approaches. This allows you to deal with a range of issues depending on your location and water quality.

City Water

The most common municipal water complaint is the unpleasant tastes and odours from the chlorine or disinfection chemicals, and the dangerous byproducts of the chlorination process (THMs). Depending on where you live, you may also struggle with staining and scaling issues from hardness minerals or Iron/Manganese.

Private Water Systems

If you are in a rural area on a private source, you may also be dealing with heavy metal issues such as Arsenic or Lead, high silt issues that make your water look milky, surface water problems such as tannins and high organics that make it look like a weak tea and of course commonly found pathogen risk such as E Coli, Giardia, Cryptospordium and more. Watertiger has a wide range of systems to suit an even wider range of problems.

Contact us for information specific to your needs. If you are on a private water system we will request a water test report to properly configure your system. If you need help on testing your water, click here.

Rainwater Harvesting

Looking for a free and plentiful resource? Look up. Next time it rains, think of what you could do with all of that extra water. Rainwater harvesting, while in use around the world for arguably thousands of years has finally started to become mainstream in North America.

Rainwater harvesting systems are being used to supplement your primary water source for everything from non-potable uses such as flushing toilets, laundry, washing cars or irrigation but also full potable domestic systems (check your local building codes).

If you're currently dealing with expensive water quality or quantity issues, contact our office for a consultation to see if rainwater harvesting might be right for you. Hybrid systems with well water can be a great way to manage the health of your groundwater.
